  • The Port Lincoln Basketball Association’s Under 10 competition is to provide girls and boys aged 5-8, with a fun and safe basketball experience, that hopefully leads to a lifetime of involvement in the game.

    FORMAT

    The format of our Under 10 competition will include fundamental skills and development training, which is provided by a qualified referee/coach.

    BENEFITS

    Children learn fundamental motor skills for future physical activity and sports participation

    Children learn the benefits of warming up and muscle management

    During games children are coached and encouraged by accredited referee/coaches

    Respect for others as well as social, team and cooperation skills are developed

  • Mercy Rules apply in U12 and U14 games where one team has a lead of 20 points (or more).

    The Port Lincoln Basketball Association has a significant membership or involvement of children.

    All volunteers aged 14 or over need a Working with Children Check - regardless of whether they have direct contact with children.

    As a volunteer, Working with Children Checks are FREE.

    Most applications are completed within four weeks.
