2024 Season - Registrations open

Registrations are now open for the 2024 season!!

*** Please note that registrations will close on Sunday, 24th September.

Since April 2023, all basketball associations in South Australia have been moving over to a new competition management platform - Basketball Connect.

This replaces GameDay (SportsTG) and previous players will see some differences with the registration process and some of these key changes are explained later on in this article.

We are looking forward to seeing all of our members, volunteers and spectators when the season starts on Monday, 16th October.

1. HOW TO REGISTER

2. REGISTRATION EVENING

If you would like in-person assistance to register, we will be holding a registration evening where representatives from the Clubs and the Association will be available to give you a hand.

  • Date: Monday, 18th September

  • Time: 5pm to 7pm

  • Location: Port Lincoln Leisure Centre court - in front of the PLBA office

3. DIVISIONS (GRADES) AND AGE GROUPS FOR THE 2024 SEASON

Often we are asked what division (age group/grade) will our child be playing in. Following the Basketball Australia age grouping our divisions are as follows:

  • Under 10 – born 2015 and after (6, 7, 8 year olds)

  • Under 12 – born 2013, 2014 (9, 10 year olds)

  • Under 14 – born 2011, 2012 (11, 12 year olds)

  • Juniors (A, B, C, D divisions) – born 2005 - 2010

4. SPORTS VOUCHERS

  • We are no longer able to offer the discounted registration fee if you are using a Sports Voucher

  • You will find information about the Sports Voucher on our website: https://www.portlincolnbasketball.com.au/policies-information

  • Please send your completed Sports Voucher form and email it to secretary.plba@gmail.com

  • Once the funds have been received, we will pay the $100 as a refund amount to the payment method you used, ie. bank account, credit card or debit card

  • It may take up to three (3) weeks for the refund to be processed

5. KEY CHANGES

Online registration form

  • You will need to create a new profile as it is a new system (you can use the same email address)

  • You register as a parent/guardian and create your child/children's profile at the same time

  • Some of the information is pre-generated and is based on the player's date of birth

Payment options

  • Direct Debit to your bank account

  • Credit or Debit card

  • Payment in full at the time of registration

  • Payment by instalments
